Privacy e cookie

Ultimo aggiornamento: 13 ottobre 2026 · English version

In breve

6.1.a GDPR e art.

4. A chi vanno i dati

I dati non vengono venduti né diffusi.

5. Trasferimenti fuori dall'Unione europea

Vercel Inc. e Google LLC hanno sede negli Stati Uniti e aderiscono all'EU-U.S. 45 GDPR).

6. I tuoi diritti

15-21 GDPR), scrivendo a amministrazione@bastellicmp.it.

Privacy and cookies

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This page explains what personal data the website www.bastellicmp.it processes, why, for how long and what your rights are, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (the "Privacy Code").

In short

  • The site uses no profiling or advertising cookies, neither its own nor anyone else's.
  • Visit statistics are anonymous and use no cookies.
  • Google maps load only if you open them, with a click.
  • There are no forms: if you email or call us, we use your details only to reply.

1. Data controller

2. What data we process and why

Browsing data

Every time you open a page, your browser sends the server some technical information: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and device type, referring page. It is recorded by the company that hosts the site (Vercel Inc.) to run the site, measure its performance and protect it from abuse and attacks.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: for a limited period, under the hosting provider's rules; longer only if needed to investigate a computer crime.

Visit statistics and performance

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to know how many people visit the site, where they come from and how fast it loads. They use no cookies and store nothing on your device: a visit is recognised by a code computed from the request and discarded after 24 hours, and the data is not linked to your IP address. We only see aggregated figures (pages viewed, country, device and browser type, referring page, loading times) that cannot identify you.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Maps, only if you open them

In the Contacts section the maps of our two sites come from Google Maps. Until you press "Show the map", the site does not connect to Google. When you open it, your browser downloads the map from Google's servers: Google receives your IP address and may read or set its own cookies. Google acts as an independent controller: see its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Privacy Code), given by pressing the button. You can withdraw it at any time: after a reload the map no longer opens by itself, and you can delete Google's cookies in your browser settings. Without the map you can still use the "Open in Google Maps" and "Directions" links, which open Google in a new tab.

Email and phone

If you write to amministrazione@bastellicmp.it or call us, we process the details you give us (name, contact details, company, content of your request) to reply and, if you ask, to prepare a quote.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: as long as needed to handle the request; if a business relationship follows, for its duration and then for the periods required by Italian civil and tax law (usually 10 years for accounting records).

Social links

The Facebook and Instagram buttons are plain links: no data reaches Meta until you press them. On their sites, Meta's privacy policy applies.

3. Cookies

The site sets no cookies of its own. The only service that may use third-party cookies is Google Maps, and only after you press "Show the map": this is why there is no cookie banner. Fonts, videos and the PDF catalogue are served by the site itself, with no requests to other services.

If traffic to the site looks unusual, the hosting provider may run an automatic security check in your browser and store a technical cookie that remembers the result, so the check is not repeated on every page. It only protects the site and, like all technical cookies, needs no consent.

4. Who receives the data

Data is never sold or published.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Vercel Inc. and Google LLC are based in the United States and take part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission found adequate in its decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR).

6. Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing, receive it in a machine-readable format (portability) and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15-21 GDPR), by writing to amministrazione@bastellicmp.it. We reply within one month. If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of the EU country where you live.

7. Other information

Providing data is optional, but without browsing data the site cannot be displayed and without contact details we cannot reply. We make no automated decisions and do no profiling. This notice may be updated: the date at the top shows the current version.
